One year is a test of patience LOL. But now it is time to enjoy my 3971. Still deciding whether to get a 5970 or a 5070P as I changed my mind on the 5270G. Regards Rene

3970 vs 3971 ?

3970 was supplied only with a closed back. It was later when both backs were supplied with the 3970. The same applied to the 3940 and 3941, then later both backs supplied. There were fewer 3941's and 3970's produced than the 3940's or 3970's.
