Why is the 5970p on the Feb 15 2011 PP price list?
I saw a copy of the Feb 15 2011 price list and the 5970p is still listed but with an 18% price increase from 2009. Wasn't this watch discontinued in 2010? I know it was on the price list for 2010 (same price as 2009) and it was explained to me that it was discontinued but appeared on the list because some deliveries were still being made into 2010.
The 5004 also appears on the latest price list. Does this mean I can get one still? ;-)

the collecting community 'believes' what Patek says... example: if Patek says the 5970P is discontinued, it must mean there are no more on earth. Patek is notorious for 'creating' rarity, through marketing. Patek equals marketing. Patek sends contradictor...

I did ask my AD, but they told me that it is no longer available.... However they did not have an answer why it is stool on the price list.... I thought that maybe your contact at PP would be able to tell us why.... Just out of curiosity- 5970 is now only...

new 5970 if it comes out in 2011....

I was given the opportunity to buy the 5970P in 2010
and am so glad I did it. It was the most I ever spent on a watch and even if it was available today at the newly stated price, I doubt that I could justify to myself the amounts being currently charged by PP. Maybe that is just me and it could be short-si...
