Bit confusing, where one 2526 "Pink" sold yesterday (auction house "A") for an amazing $175,000 swiss francs, while other 2526 (same auction) sold for approx. 64,000. Granted, the first 2526 one was listed in perfect condition, but still hard to justify t... 

anything is possible..... I didn't see both watches myself but I don't feel surprised for the price difference if we are comparing an average 2526 with a perfect 2526. You know... not that many good 2526 enamel dial around... Also, RG play a big role here... 

I guess I was just a bit shocked seeing a 175,000 CHF selling price for a 2526, which, correct me if I'm wrong, could be a new world reecord for a pink 2526??? Best, Arthur.

But I think condition is paramount today. BTW A similar ref 3428 in PG with the 27-460 and enamel dial sold for CHF $44K. I think a "cheap" way to own a pink enamel dial PP BTW I still love yours Julian

I'm not that much surprised with this piece really as its rarity did command deservedly high price. However, look at C auction yesterday a 5970 WG went for more than US $210K!!!! Now that does surprise me!!

I know you love your watches, but it's as if you 'forget' these auctions have almost no meaning in 'the real world'. Try to sell your 5970 for even 110 and you will wait 5 months for the buyer. Try 120 and the buyer will never come. Your pink 2526 is prob...

Patek with Serpico Y Laino on the dial is extremely rare and with that type of bracelet makes it even more desire especially in rose gold in such condition. Rarity + desire + condition=$$$$.
