The World Time is beautiful
The 5930G is also high on my list…….My quandary (probably like others here) is whether or not to get a watch that is purely collectible or one that I can enjoy wearing regularly. I love the 3940, but it’s obviously not something I wear very often. I also love the 3970, but even if I could afford one , I wouldn’t wear it. I really like the 5960, and could wear it. I also like the 5930. Ultimately it would be nice to buy something that I could wear (not necesarily everyday), but that would also be collectible some time down the road.

You have such a broad range to choose from with Patek, at any level of its catalog, that without further input it's almost impossible to advise...but let me give you what's always a good suggestion with Patek in a reasonable price range: a Worldtimer!

I owned a 5960a for a while, and I definitely wore it.
There's no big quandary for me, though. I'm not a big enough collector to own something *purely* for collectability's sake. If I'm not comfortable wearing it, *even if* I love it collectability-wise, I won't keep it for long.

I think both are very satisfying to wear. But since you already have a perpetual calendar, instead of the 3970 maybe you could find a manual Patek chronograph. Easier on budget and you won’t have to deal with keeping the date correct. The world timers are...
