PS: As a fun aside, I'm not into crypto at all but I work in academia, so since you're in Switzerland the first thing I understood as I quickly read "purchased with digital assets (ETH)" was that you bought the watch using part of the ETH endowment ;-))) ...

Love the watch and crypto. I often think of doing the same thing and using some of my crypto to get some new pieces. But I just have to ask; I assume you meant converted ETH to a fiat currency and then purchased the watch? I know Tesla accepts crypto now ...
No, I actually found someone willing to sell it directly against ETH ! No fiat involved.
Of course got everything coming along with it ( box, papers, medal...)
