Well, I found it perfect
The 3D effect is still visible and, in the mean time, it remains refined as it is not too present on the overall picture.
Perfect to me.
The 5930's guilloché is diffferent as it is the same style as the 5110 but with a bigger pattern. The way it looks is totally different from the 5230 and serves as a support to the whole dial in both watches. It doesn't attract 90% of the attention, thus well balanced imho.

i've a crazy idea, but i think we might just see it on some watch one day (or i hope :P ): add a 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9 window-counter to count which set of 30-minute the chronograph is activated on. so in effect, it can count up to 4.5 hours! and i doubt that...

I share your appeal for such complication. Patek masters it very well considering the traditional legacy of such a brand and the way they master the volumes of the watches they offered (which is a complication on its own versus making big sized watches). ...

Perhaps with the R&D efforts of Patek and the advent of technology, someday in the future a thinner mechanism and longer measurement period might be available in a WT. Fingers crossed ! Cheers Gordon

In the mean time, I think that overcome obstacles in the traditional way is also something interesting when dealing with classical watchmaking. The difficult choice for instance between bringing a little bit of silicon or dealing with traditional material...
the size of the new WT will be great but the dark centre I am not sure about
on the previous models a dark centre was reserved for the P model. With the new models it is available on all models. On your pictures it is looking good from the distance though. Thanks for the pictures. Best Moritz
