I have admired this watch since it was first introduced and struggled between the platinum version vs the white gold. The arabic numerals IMO make the dial so much more interesting than the simple makers though. Also I think the concentric rings in this v...

I concur completely. I think one of the greatest things about the 5196P is its ability to dress up or dress down with equal aplomb. For a long time I thought this to be the pinnacle of the current calatrava offerings, and it may well be. It just felt a li... 

flat, is just a great plus. It's a part of elegance and in my opinion a flat movement is also a complication. At least I hit a thick watch much easier to door frames and all kinds of stupid places. Best, Kari
