Patek Philippe

Watch winder.

I am one of those of the opinion that don't really favor a watch winder...with the exception of a perpetual...and then, maybe. smile The obvious reason for the winder is so it doesn't have to be set again if it stops. But, that, in my opinion, is what being a WIS is all about. I know that Patek does supply a winder with perpetuals but If I am reading your post correctly, to have the perpetual on a winder for five years straight (in constant motion) is a long time.

As Dr. Koi mentioned, it is time for you to send it to Patek for servicing. When you get the estimate for servicing, do not be surprised at the cost. smile However, don't cut corners. Make sure you send it to an authorized Patek service center.

Aloha,

Bob
