Was on a simiar trek and luckily I stumbled upon a 2573. I believe this model spans from the late 50's thru the 60's. What struck me abut this model was its simplicity, yet its true Patek elegance. The hands and markers have that Deco simplicity that today some may call minimialist, I think it works. The other unique feature of this vintage Patek is that it has a minimal bezel, making the beautiful dial the focus. While the watch is 33mm in size, because of its small bezel it wears just sligtly bigger. The watch is a hand-wound, a preference of mine for vintage watches. I like to have that winding comunion every morning as I do with some of my other hand-wound watches. I'm not really sure if this model is rare, as I have seen at least one more for sale. Whichever way you go, good luck on your hunt. Vintage Calatrava's have plenty of charm.
