I thought the article was on Patek chronographs (without complications) and not just vintage Patek chronographs but as usual, I may be wrong
For me, Patek's forte
is its ability to squeeze complicated movements into ultra slim and tiny cases which many others fail to do. That itself is quite an accomplishment.

I think I like the pure Chrono most. The Patek Philippe heritage is fabulous
though....
......adding complications is always wonderful, i still say the base complication of Chrono is the tickbox
