Dear all, This is a "brand new" 3940G. You will notice that the lower half of the 24 hour dial is "yellowish". It is not a photo defect or "funny" angle. Is there anything "wrong" and in your opinion 1) is it rectifiable and 2) how does this "defect" affe...

That's the first time I have noticed that. I think that a visit to Spec Savers is well over due!!
That's part of its charm.
