but an interesting observation. I'm always looking down at my wrist and rarely, very rarely to tell the time,... let a lone if my time-piece is accurate . I need a life. Arthur....  

Not a PP but I once timed one of my Princes over a week Not bad for a watch from 1931 Julian...

Have you ever tested your 5070R? I'm curious how it fares....maybe Lemania movement is easy to regulate to achieve accuracy ;-) *CL

Even if it missed 2 minutes per day I wouldn't notice it LOL

I love to time my watches but I'm not too worried if they are off by a few seconds a day as long they are quite constant. *CL

My Dato runs 2 / 3 seconds faster, per day, and I'm happy with. But your 5970 is impressively accurate! Best, Nicolas

At least now I know of an example of Dato running accurately. +2, +3 sec are great timing *CL

My beloved 5970G is running 5-6 sec fast per 24h I will put it on my timing machine to try to slow it down during the night ...

and how do you slow it down? Care to elaborate, I'm curious. Cheers, CL

Great photos from both yourself and Arthur. I would love to own a 5970G If I had one, it would very rarely leave my wrist. Much like my 5140G does now.

Be it 5970G or 5140G, they would only look better as time passes. They will grow old with grace together with us on our wrist *CL
