This Calatrava just got back home from Patek spa...

The exercise wasn't cheap, took 10 months, but the results are exactly as I expected.

I remember visiting the PP museum, and was amazed by the quality of restored watches on display,
Well, this is exactly what I got, a watch from the early 1940's, kind of rare as from my understanding in a life span of 7-8 years only 400 were made in total in 3 diff metals.
This one has a less common Breguet dial, and I got it few years ago from the grandson of the original owner,
They fully restored the case, they did lots of work, jeweler work, on the original case  and hands bringing them to original condition.

still sealed, waiting for the appropriate strap.

Maybe smaller case than the 5196 since location of seconds subdial?

Absolutely stunning!

Big congrats and thanks for reminding us of where some modern DNA comes from. What are you considering for the strap?

Is it 30.5mm?
