The blue dials and variants indeed have subtle differences. Patek as well as other manufacturers definitely know what they are doing in terms of letting their clients own multiple pieces within the same color scale

Here's actually this 5968G along with a couple of other blue dials for sports models that I had a chance to see at an event last month...interestingly, the 5968 blue does look quite similar (same?) to the iconic 5650G (a 2017 limited edition)! ;-) Cheers....
