I am not new to watches but I am new to Patek, or perhaps, Patek is new to me. I have been studying the various models current and retired. I prefer arabic numerals when available and I prefer red gold in many cases. I am also attracted to the white gold ...

Fits well on my 6.5 inch wrist. If you like the look (art deco) with the salmon dial,applied arabics,step-up case with the beautiful formed movement; there's nothing quite like it. cheers fernando...  

Fernando, Thank you. A very nice shot of a wonderful piece. After going to my local AD (but not for PP) and trying on some other pieces of the same size and shape, I feel the size is fine on my wrist. I think my decision now rests on the contrast in the d... 

Thanks to all for your input. I have decided to purchase a 5054 R. It should arrive next week. Although I would have preferred to have the arabic numerals, I just did not like the 5015 hobnail version. This is my first PP. Larry
