That’s what was throwing me – the mention of a RG deployante clasp.
In light of the edit to my post above by Baron, and it now reading a bit odd, it should be noted that I referenced a 5035G being sold on C24.
The same seller has a 5035R, and like the rest of the members have said, do your due diligence and build a rapport with the sellers, before booking your flight(s) to see the one(s) of interest.
This is too much money to entrust to good faith, so a purchase in person would be the surest way to safeguard against any unexpected surprises, even if it means having to walk away empty handed and a bit disappointed.

Thank you Baron. I have seen 5035G's on offer for around €18.500. The one I am interested in seems in excellent condition with no damage, has all the original papers and box. But an age of 12 years might mean it needs a service so I have to add another €1...
