I think the diamond at 6 was only introduced in the mid to late 2000s
I know the 5970s all have the diamond and they're 2009, but a lot of 5004s don't have the diamond so I think it depended on when the case was made.
Every time I see a white metal 3970 I think the same thing:
Why do I have a collection of watches instead of owning just THIS watch?
