CH 29-535 Winding question
I'm interested in the PP5170 and had a question. The instruction book on their website says that it has a Dynamometric winding crown that will start to click when it's full. I was just comparing this to the PP5270 which I believe has the same movement CH ...
Can only confirm 5170 "clicks"
The 5170 clicks when you try to "overwind" it. As I do not have a 5270 (so far) I cannot help you there. As to the different metals, I guess no one knows, except some PP employees :-) Best regards Georg

Yes they are different. I own both and the 5270 comes to a stop, while the 5170 you get a feedback to stop. I was also curious about this as I thought they were based on the same movement.
215 manual wind movement also clicks
The 215 movement in my 5134 (last version) also has a mechanism to prevent over winding which clicks when it is fully would. The winding mechanism is smooth like butter. beautiful.
The 5134...
was the first model to incorporate this winding feature. I am also a little confused why the 5270 does not incorporate this great feature.
