Boith are good choices, in my opinion. It will depend on your taste: Are you on clean looking watches, so you'll go on the 5070, or on more complicated watches? Are you more manual than auto? My advice would be to get both, as they are very different. If ...

5070R, especially in R. I think it's a beautiful timeless chrono. There's not much I don't like about it. The 5960R doesn't sing to me as much. Good luck in your choice.

and if you could afford both, than buy a 5070R and a 5070G or 5070J or 5070P ....but definitely the 5070

I personally prefer the 5070J
and i suspect there are fewer Js out there. the black dial on yellow gold gives it a more "vintage" look, whilst the R looks more contemporary and arguably more discreet. but hey...I think yellow gold is going to make a BIG COMEBACK!!! at the end of the d...
