If you're generally worried and also find it important to buy new from an AD, you might consider putting a deposit on one that is in stock with an agreed upon purchase price and payment plan. If you can accept pre-owned or grey market, the only issue is what the price will be at some unknown future date, and nobody can tell you this with certainty, whether discontinued or not.
