I use the word beginner because I have only a very rudimentary understanding of the craftsmanship behind the watches. (This thread currently sits next to a 50 post discussion about anglage and I have no idea if that's English, French or Swahili, let alone what anglage is!)
This being said, the open case backs are really fascinating to me. And I love how 'noisy' my 5146 is, in particular.
