Thankfully,,, either my thumbs got larger or the crown got smaller,,,, well neither but,, the original crowns on the 3919 are incredibly small ,, so at the servicing in NYC ( which the PATEK watchmakers did a fantastic job) I did have a larger ,, I believ...

Easier to grip and a larger crown provides more leverage when winding. Good choice.
