Hi, Don't take me wrong, but as Patek Philippe doesn't disclose production figures.... That's not that what you write is wrong, but we have no clue or proof or official statement that they are right either. Cheers Dje
Dje, a couple of years ago it was written in one of the Patek Magazines. I presume we can believe it when it's written in their own magazine. It said they made about 250 5070's per color per year. I'll try to find it and post it here.
you're right Bruno, i read 250 gold 5070 in an early Patek mag, Laurent , before he joined Gérald Genta, told me the same , saying 5070 lemania was longer to produce than new 5960 caliber , 5070 P : i heard only 70 produced cheers
So should we read that during the 4 years when both the G and the R were produced, the toal of the G and R was 250 per year? And if so, gow many in G and how many in R? May you tell us when this article was written and published, please? Thanks a lot, Bru...
It is the 5170 and it was anounced 6 months ago. You probably mean a new 5970 (perpetual chrono) This message has been edited by Bruno.M1 on 2010-09-08 06:39:52
I have the 5070 in rose gold and in platinum. Love them! I saw that the 5970 in rose gold, that I also have, is not included in the "current collection" at Patek's website. I think they are all collection now!! Thanks again! Regards. JR
