One of my dreams of the last couple of days? A 6007T for the next children charity auction... I honestly have no clue if this will happen, but it would be pretty amazing...;-)
Here's a thread a wrote a while ago on the allegedly only 12 (twelve!) Titanium Pateks ever produced in 181 years of history, all of course unique pieces:
Qualitatively I agree (in the sense that it's technically the same as the "old" reference 6000), but it's such a unicorn that it would be quite a dream to have... An incredibly special one is also the 3928T ;-)
One of the twelve (the 5033T) will be on the market again next month with Christie's. Even here, go figure how "funny" some auctions are presented: this entire (and quite amazing) private collection that will be on sale in a series of auctions is advertis...

The 6007 is more symmetrical, will be harder to get and sell from much higher % above retail. Not worried at all.

League as FPJ and PP as a start. But that's what I was saying ....both hVe deficiencies....FPJ stamps most its dials PP doesnt...this is a new phenomena for them
That's a pretty bold statement, with direct support from FPJ. However, there is no doubt in my mind that they are stashing away pieces and manipulating the market.
They also played the market, still do, with the 5522... PP certainly knows what is going on and will do the same with the new stainless piece, look the other way. It's free enterprise, you play or don't, whether or not we like it.
