.....in modern this is true. I still see 5110 as a modern variant, though to be fair it is now almost transitional

Before the 5110 there was a long gap to the previous WT. Pre-5110 is distinctly Vintage. The 5110 started the modern genre of the WT. So I see it as the transition model from the former Vintage pieces to the modern.
