My solution was to wear it (sadly not a PP) under a sleeve cuff so no one would see it. I also had the bracelet shortened so I could wear it firmly above the wrist bone which prevented it from sliding down to peek below the length of my sleeve. It's a beautiful piece and just knowing it's on your wrist can be a secret pleasure.

Seems like it should be pretty easy to just put it on a strap right? That would tone it down quite a bit.
