Single digit and exactly which days/ weeks of any year that a particular watch will be in production. The limiting factor was always (apparently) the dials....the cases and movements can be churned out as can the city chapter rings....so the cynic in me doesn’t believe that the Sterns put down how many years something will run for but rather the production of xxxxx units and then deciding how long it will take to filter them into the market. So even though the P was shorter it was longer than expected and I am guessing they wanted to get up to xxxxx units....but in reality only the Sterns know and they sure aren’t telling

5131R/5131G production number?

Hi guys A quick one, a dealer has been telling me the number of production for 5131R is about 1xx? I know Patek would never release the actual number, but just wondering if any truth to it?

absolutely no truth in it. I would expect production numbers of the each of the 5131 variants to be between 350 and 500 pieces. Gordon Lau is an authority in this area and I am sure he will provide a better insight.

Any idea about the 5231J production numbers so far. How many teams working on dials etc. It appears to me they are producing more 5231Js compared to 5131s. My AD who is a small family owned AD has received 2 pieces so far
