Ref. 5050P

Manufactured in 1995, the dial featured on this specimen is considered a “third series” due to the presence of Roman numerals and the omission of “AUTOMATIC” below the moon phase. It is estimated that around 150 of reference 5050 were made in platinum. One of my favourite perpetual calendar designs from Patek and tempting to add to one’s collection.
The case is 35mm in diameter and around 11mm in thickness.
Powered by the automatic winding calibre 315/136, the movement has a power reserve of about 48 hours and a beat rate of 21,600 vibrations per hour.

in addition to the dress watches that do sell now are more from independents and are oriented to time only pieces with artisan dials, movement structures and finishings. Highly complicated pieces were the rage in the late 90s to early 2000s.

I like that the leap year doesn't cut into the retrograde date window like on newer references. Thanks for sharing
My exact thoughts my friend;)

It drives me nuts to see the leap year cutting in to the date on the later references…😉
Beautiful watch
