But I just saw the predecessor of “yours” in the flesh. Did you have the chance to compare both versions in the flesh? ...
I love both equally, but not having any salmon in my collection... it makes me prefer the latest

but this copper colored dial is not for me - more salmon would have been better
I loved the dial when I saw it in the flesh, and the dark blue touch of the moon phase really works for me
With a dark blue strap, it would be a great daily for me (perfect for office environment).
The way they handled the markers at 5 and 7...
...is kind of a mess. But I like the layout and love the lugs...

A typical Weems watch. Why? Center seconds, moon phase, day, month, leather strap. My taste.
Pointer date lover
I prefer as the title said, pointer date. The day and month are windowed, but it is not a dealbreaker for me. A smal second would be hard for me.
I agree from an aesthetic point of view, but I do check the date frequently and not easy with subdials
Silly enough, as much as I love perpetual calendar chronographs (5270 and predecessors), I see a practicality issue with the date indication 🫢
There is just something about the body of a Patek.
