Question about the 5109g....
Does anyone have some pics of the white gold version of the 5109? I was at an AD the other day and tried on the yellow gold version...and fell in love with it!!!
I've been hunting for a rectangular cased watch for some time and have never found the right one. Owned a GP vintage 1945 that just didn't do it, had a JLC reverso grand date but couldn't get my shirt sleeve over it!
I never considered the 5109 because from pics I was afraid it would look too dainty in size. Then I saw it in the flesh...the case size is wonderful and the winding of the movement is a dream!
The AD did not have a white gold version and I was really interested to find out more about the hands and applied numerals. Are they all black? Or, are they white gold with a black mirror like polish? Either way...I might have to pull the trigger on this.
Also, if someone would send me a PM regarding dealers to contact for one (I live in Chicago and have never seen one here). Of course, I'd also love to know what type of price this model typically fetches, as I know it's not one of Patek's most popular models. Again, please PM me on this info so as not to violate any forum rules!!!
Thanks in advance for all your help and suggestions!!!
