Patek Philippe

I have collected JLC and IWC for about 15 years, but am now finding myself thinking about a Patek Philippe. Not being an officianado, i looked through the PP website just to see which watched "grabbed" me. Then I tried sourcing them. That was when I met c... 

Well, it is a great watch ! I don't have one but would love to own a Patek worldtimer. Did you also look ate the 5135 (Gondolo Calendario) ? My top 3 Patek watches are the 5070 - 5135 - 5130 And here's a nice pic ... rarer than the Holy Grail Took this Pi...  

That really is a beautiful picture. Sometimes watches just sing. I called around some of the more obscure authorised dealers yesterday. All of them had obviously sold out. Most said that they could have sold their allocations 10 times over. But, one said ... 

I would jump on it without any hesitation. But I would choose it in WG, for once. As the dial is maybe, at least to me, better balanced with the silver center part, rather than with the blue part of the 5130. With a 5130, you will have THE reference in te...

Well, i have taken the decision on the 5130 and also made another decision on the 5070. I am wearing the 5130P as I type and you are right...it is a superb watch. I am also lucky enough to have bought an 5070P, still sealed as new. I won't get the latter ... 

Please, post some pics! And yes, Please, unseal your 5070P! This is not a watch to keep in the safe, but to safely put on the wrist! Best, Nicolas

Nicolas, Thanks. I feel very pleased to be wearing the 5130P. I had no idea that platinum was so heavy. I own a few rose and yellow gold JLCs, and they have nothing like the weight! Likewise, I own two IWCs and I just imagined the 5130P to be lighter! I c...
