Patek Phillipe Gondolo Ref 5109G.

Some pictures of a watch we don't often see, here and there, the Gondolo Ref 5109.

Here in white gold.

So, what are the main points?

The case, first, rectangular. with this angular bezel.

Then, the superb grained dial.

We also have to mention the sublime hands and the applied hour markers.

As often, with the cal 215, a too centered small seconds sub dial, too.

The to issues for me are:

- The case, whose dimensions are too big, which gives a more square than rectangular shape.

- The strap, which is very large and not enough tapered, which enhances the size of the case.

Other than that, a pleasure to see a watch which is a bit out of the beaten paths. Now, this is not my favorite Gondolo. I will come back to that...

Best,

Nicolas

The seconds sub dial doesn’t bother me. Even the cut off „6“ is well solved. I find this Patek very appealing. Best, Thomas

What are your thoughts on the platinum version? It only has the 12 as a numeral.
