Patek Philippe Ref. 5130 World Time - Munich
On special request of a fellow Purist I will show you this. Just had the possibility to take pictures behind a window and that´s all I got, this time.
There are two versions (R & G) and both are limited to 25 pieces each.
The pattern is derived from the flag of Bavaria, but is also shown in a logo from a (former) well-known retailer - Huber in Munich. Some of you will still remember Martin Huber the last family owner and an important writer about Patek Philippe. For insiders the shop was better known as "Resi"
If you look closely you can still see the (old) logo above the entrance, but today there is a Patek Philippe Boutique inside (1st floor) and Bucherer is in charge of it.
Also there is a clock left at the corner.
Next I will show you my pictures about the watches, next to the regular production.
When the 5110 was still in production I was always dreaming about a piece dedicated to Munich, because it is a very special place to me. Today it is still nice to see the latest version, but too big for my wrist to feel comfortable :-(
Well, we can´t have everything!

Seems like you are condemned to wear vintage watches. With nowadays prices of vintage pieces, its not going to be easy. That munich edition looks really nice. I like the idea of dedicating this model for tributes, it feels natural.

The Bavarian pattern looks very nice, it is overall a very very nice LE, thanks for sharing Oliver. OT: I think Bücherer has made a mistake to put its name on the Huber boutique, even with the property. Huber has a long long story behind, Patek limited ed...

they changed the name and the place, more or less. The main shop moved to another place, which is near by but totally different in style. It is more like a luxury department store and the spirit is totally different. In the old place there is "only" a Rol...
