Patek Philippe ref 5130: A review of the special editions
In 2012 Patek celebrated the opening of their flagship boutique in Shanghai with a limited edition of 50 pieces, 25 in rose gold and 25 in white gold
Launched in 2014 to celebrate the grand watch exhibition in Germany was this special edition in rose gold and white gold in 25 pieces of each metal. The crntre guilloche was done to match the Bavarian flag.

My personal favourite is the Hamilton and Inches edition in platinum from the end of 2016 with a sumptuous purple guilloche dial in just 25 pieces
Then there’s the 150 pieces for Mecca made in platinum in 2010
It features a lovely green dial
There is an even rarer and absolutely stunning green dial made in a 5130J yellow gold case
Made in just 15 pieces in 2016 for Hettich in St.Helier it celebrates 50years of partnerships with Patek Philippe
Another beautiful example is the Beirut limited edition made in 2016. After being in Lebanon 🇱🇧 for 62 years Patek opened a boutique in Beirut
This rose gold and brown dial beauty was made in just 25 examples
Finally the Dubai limited edition
Made for Ahmed Siddique and sons 60th anniversary in platinum and black dial in just 50 pieces

Really interesting summary to have in one place! It might be impossible to be 100 percent sure this is everything, but it seems entirely plausible 😉

Aside from the Mecca I think the Hamilton is superb and with the chosen colour (presumably inspired by the flower of Scotland) it's definitely like nothing I've seen elsewhere. Thanks for posting.

Apparently there was also 25 5230G Manama released as well, have not seen pictures but suppose that also carries the red center? Would be great to see pics if anyone has.... The red against rose gold looks superb!
Wonderful, both are astonishing! He even has a video of his unsealing... Needless to say, I would totally love to have this version (at retail!), though it's obviously impossible as I have no relationship with the AD in Manama.
I'm wondering if some of the friends here were selected and have pictures. Apparently, with Patekaholic, Patekcollector and the king of Bahrein we already know three of the 50 owners!
