Patek Philippe Ref. 1513
I find this reference (mentioned only three times on this site,
seven,
ten, and
seventeen years ago), powered by
calibre 12-120 PS, quite
fascinating.
The watch looks very simple, even a bit bland, but its design is subtle and more complex than one might think, with the recessed central part of the three-parts 35 mm case and the thin down-curved lugs (two details I personally love).
Not only was this watch made in steel (which is itself a rarity), but also in two-tone versions (steel and rose gold) as well as full rose gold.
Finally, some beautiful photos of two examples with a tropical dial can be found.
Let's have a look.
Best, Emmanuel
