5959s tend to have a white dial and his black dial is rare. Is it really rare ? If so, how rare is it ? Thanks 🙏 Gordon ...

Actually 5959 is very rare in any dial, rare to such an extent that I am sure there is not much difference between white and black dial. One might be very very rare and the other extremely rare .

The other being the 3939. As others have said, I think the 5959 is rare, regardless of the dial or case metal. I wonder how many exist in total and I suspect it is a very small number.

I would certainly welcome it. Perhaps a marketing theme: Real watches for real people. No tennis celebrities or the likes.

I love this watch by virtue of it being off the hype radar. Prefer the white dial, because you can throw on a light strap and enjoy a Q-watch while everyone else is paying attention to the 5711s. Reminds me of the great chronographs of the 1920s/1930s. Wh...

Did the 5959 replace another reference with a different hz ? If so, which reference and how many hz ? It would be great if you could share some information.

Hello Gordon, Perhaps I misunderstand. I thought this reference was modeled after their vintage chronos. I see that this movement was built from the ground up now. I guess they increased it for accuracy? I like how the 18000vph 5 beat per second matches t... 

I would expect the white dial versions to be much rarer. Black you see a lot - also in auctions.

I will simply put the 5959 black dial in the rare camp no matter what.
