Hi,

I close this thread that is going nowhere and is finally just about value now!

A thread about quality of services at ADs would be Ok of course, if you're tempted!

Regarding such quality of services, do you really think that jewellery stores make rings themselves? They're ordered just like any other stuff!

Of course it is still possible to special order custom made jewels from some jewellers, but IMO it is still a very small (if significant) percentage of all jewels sold!

Would you buy a ring without trying it on? Probably no.

Would the majority of Patek Philippe watch customers buy their watch without trying it ? Quite probably no!

We (the passionate collectors, and indeed not me yet) are not the majority of the PP customers. We may have our share of influence on the image of PP (not even so sure), but Patek Philippe doesn't make its income with us alone!
