Not sure what a disiti is, but MSRP for a 5990A is $53.3k... The price you mention however seems in line with C24 values, at least at a quick search. Is disiti a grey and reputable dealer? [nt]
I would never do business there again. His approach is totally short-sighted. The market won't always be this hot. Stories like this make me believe the bubble is soon to burst. M4
Are people paying this thinking that they';re going to go up further? Or someone really wants the watch that badly or has money to waste. Meantime there are dozens on the retail market (though many may not actually have in hand.). Maybe 5990's will be 125...
but the AD is already making 25k plus for and in and out on a 5990. I think that the frustration with some AD's marking up comes from the fact that so many buyers are flipping them (otherwise where would all of these hard to get pieces come to market - in...
If this is what happened, this practice would be totally unacceptable and in my opinion should be reported instantaneously. Any AD selling a 5990 in the US for more than $53,300 (or anywhere else for more the MSRP of that country) should very, very quickl...
I meant to say that at 53,300 us msrp the dealer already makes over 30k on the watch so charging over retail to a regular customer would seem excessive. It’s capitalism and more power to them, but I think that in the long run ADs that practice will be hur...
As I said above, I did have an AD that I had purchased from regularly try to charge me a similar mark up as the beginning post here in this thread on a hard to get PC. 40k over retail. Said keep it and went elsewhere and waited again.
