Sometimes, I do find some AD have MR on hand. You just pay your money and get your MR. Then, you will receive your Warrent paper with your name on it later.

Is it true that MR and highly complicated watches are made to order? Call me conservative but I always want to see the watch before I buy and for the MR at least listen to the gong/chime... How long is the wait normally? AD said 3 years!!!!

dont you need to submit an APPLICATION through the boutique/AD to be considered for ownership? I heard Mr. Stern reviews all the applications and decides if you should receive an MR...
Application
From what the AD said to me, yes and you will also need an 'recommendation' from him. Meaning you must have a pretty good relationship with him. That's why I am asking here if this is right.
