No brainer
If you travel then the 5164 is about as good as it's ever going to get. Discrete, almost to a fault. It's functionally just about perfect. You can wear it with a suit and you can wear it with jeans. It's in steel so durable. If you don't travel frequently then the 5712/1a is a truly great watch. It reeks of sophistication whilst still managing to be relatively low key. Again it's a suit and jeans watch.
I have a 5712G and a 5167 and I would really like a 5164 for travel, but Patek have raised the price twice and the watch isn't even available yet. It's now beyond my reach which is a real shame.
