I tried to love the 5070. Patek has always been known for its tasteful proportions. Somehow that, compounded by the insatiable asking prices of the 5070 swayed me against it.

To me, this strap feels right on this watch for casual situations. It has a similar feel as the new 5212 as far as the pairing goes.
