Mine was changed.
The original clasp of the 5130 (arrow shape clasp) enlarged the hole of the strap and it became too risky for me to wear the watch. So Patek changed it freely and I got the Calatrava cross one.
It appears that Patek has had several issues with its folding clasps...
For the moment, the new one I have is ok.

Has any forum member had issues with the deployments clasp?
If yes , would you please be so kind as to describe the issue. Was it was under warranty? How was it resolved ? Also, once resolved did it ever re-occur ?
Well, I have quite a lot, and never had a mechanical problem with them.
But I find all of them to be very uncomfortable to wear. Maybe it is due to my wrist, but I much prefer pin buckles. Best, Nicolas

Same problem with deployment on my wrist, but with pin buckles fit comfortably.

What happened? Do you have the old type of deployment clasp or the new type? The old type has a different locking mechanism, a round disc that has a small groove sticking out making the circle slightly egg-shaped. This fits into a circular hole and holds ...
its deployant, not deployment...
and they save the strap but they are less secure as they easy open if caught and the whole shooting match is secured by one tiny upright metal post. It goes and the watch is history.

Not suitable for heavy watches
I had a variety of accidental issues with mine, which caused me to move to standard buckles - less convenient but fewer repair outlays.The PP deployment clasp is not suitable for heavy (XXXX-P) watches . Also, the PP déployante is not very comfy, I found....

As I was considering getting a deployant, now I shall have to give it some more thought and maybe save myself some money!! LOL
if your watch did not come with deployants,
IMHO, don't bother getting the deployant.The design of the Patek deployants not the best.

Mine keeps coming undone .....
I have one of the Calatrava Cross deployants that I bought about 5 years ago . It comes undone very easily and I constantly find myself having to close it again . Personally , I'm sorry I didn't keep the original buckle as from my own experience its a mor...
No issues at all...
But it's important to have the right lengths of strap. And... wear the deployant the other way around: first, it's more comfortable and second it looks much better because the tail and of the strap is not pointing outwards, but towards you... My watch had...
