Patek Philippe

May I recommend...

Hi,

I think I can recommend to you a very interesting PP reference# 3410

Most of them have been manufactured at the beginning of the 60ies, so it is real vintage.

It has a understated very clear design, the case is pretty large for that time at 34mm - so it matches your requirements concerning the diameter.

What makes this watch stand out of the crowd? It is a very rare movement inside with a total production number of

5200 pieces only which are spread over a dozen of different references.

So a Ref. 3410 is a pretty  "naturally limited" watch indeed...

The movement is the  Cal. 27 - AM - 400

"AM" stands for "amagnetic"  and this makes this caliber so very special.

Important parts of the movement are executed in a special gold alloy in order to eliminate sensitivity against magnetic fields.

If you are lucky you may find such a watch on the upper edge of your price range...  as not many know about the special features of this watch...

IMO it is one of the most undervalued PP watch of that era.

There are other amagnetics from PP with the word "Amagnetic" printed on the dial and these fetch very high prices (like the SS Ref. 3417 or gold Ref. 2570). Here you have one without the word Amagnetic on the dial but with the same very special movement for significantly less.

You buy rarity and classy look for a very good price.

Try to grab one - you will not regret!

Hope I could help you.

Good luck and kind regards

Erich
