Need advice. Developed a crush (late, I know) on Nautilus and held out for the anniversary pieces. Not going there, for reasons that don't need repeating. I'm left with this conundrum: 5712 or 3712? Your views much appreciated.

is not justified IMO unless you're a hardcore Nautilus collector and need to round out the collection. So my vote goes to the 5712. Cheers, John

One and all for your wisdom. New is my instinct, but I may have found a double sealed 3712 which has caused the headache. Premium is also a very good point, but also wondering whether small size difference is material (small wrist!). Will mull it over som... 

but it would always be the 5712 for me. My reasons are as follows: 1. I believe most manufacturers (especially Patek) have made improvements to its movement over the years and I am pretty sure that the 3712 did not adhere to a +2 -3 accuracy yardstick tha... 

is not a preference, then a 5712 would be first choice. Especially a 5712g best bang for your buck.

In all honesty, am not a big fan of the juxtaposition of a perfect circle and the bezel shape. This is totally my idiosyncrasy so please forgive me! It\'s probably because my Nautilus crush is still in its early stages. Give me time.
