Patek Philippe

I had the opportunity to view the magnificent Patek Philippe 5001P and it did not disappoint. Sadly the price point is way above my means! What a pleasure to hold. Apologies for the dreadful picture, it was very difficult to catch! 🙄 ...  

Here are 2 images you might like. From what I have read about 500 pieces in platinum. The WG/blue is apparently much rarer, maybe 100 ish (?) (I noticed these images at European Watch Co.) ...  

For me, I prefer the salmon dial but I would love to own either but I would have to trade everything else I own for the pleasure…

much prefer round watches. The LE 5100 while not inexpensive seems to be a relative bargain.

And this is the 5101 right not 5001?

wind it ? If so, how long did it take to wind it fully ?

The finishing on the movement in this gondolo is something you'd expect to see in Independents. It shows that Patek clearly has the capability to do wide englage, sharp external angles and highly finished tourbillion bridges. I find it disappointing that ...
