Like the Mercedes dash switches of the 70 - 90s?
they way the clicked (both in tactile feeling and sound) was unique and contributed tremendously to the impression of quality. Regrettably - this seemed to have changed.
Interesting to note that Patek is actively pursuing the holistics of case construction recently!

I am a very strong advocate for diamonds on a time peace, especially on a Patek. That lovely 5298 p would be also my choice and this one that you are showing: a stunner! Best Moritz
