I totally agree.
The 5140 was too big for my wrist anyway. Didn\'t feel right. Even if it is a gorgeous watch, it\'s not for me. But it\'s always a delight to see a 5140 on someone else .

According to the watch the 3rd year is in the middle
and next year would be a leap year. Best, Kari
2016 is leap year. In newer 240 Q mechanisms, the numbers 1,2,3,4 are placed 45 degrees ccw.
So in your watch the leap year indicator needle precedes the years. The number 4 is the leap year. My guess is that the earliest 3940 mechanisms had instantaneous leap year indicator. So it made sense the numbers were placed as indicated in your watch. Ho...

Solid back only. Sapphire backs where on the 3941s and then on the 3940s but only from 1993. Well, if the Antiquorum\'s digest is correct ;-) ====>
