There were many makers that used the off-center but mainly VP : Piguet freres, LEP etc used them and can be seen on jules, VC and other brands from the era. I do strongly believe the base movement on this is made by VP and not lecoultre, There are many differences: Patek did use Lecoultre ebauches for minute repeaters: the 17 ligne ones with the curved 1/4 plate and no wolf teeth. These minute repeaters I think are VP through and through like this one which was signed by VP and not lecoultre. as for the sonneries, that is true... VP used other makers including LEP on the earliest ones sent to Patek and used reymond brothers as well.
