I have been comparing two different World Times. Naturally, 5131G is fantastic, a jewelry like watch but it is quite a difficult watch to wear. At the same time 5110P is a watch that is a great pleasure to wear and its dial is also something stunning. The...  

I think you have illustrated and stated this point well. I have always maintained that the ceramic painted dial, while beautifully executed, lacks a certain masculinity that the platinum version possesses. Too pretty perhaps, or as you have more eloquentl... 

Its exactly how I feel towards both watches. I love how the 5131G looks and the craftsmanship in that watch is superb and I would love to own one but something deep inside keeps telling me that i shouldn't acquire a watch,If I am not planning to wear it. ...

5131 has a more modern look (due to size) with a very traditional and labor intensive dial, while 5110 is piece of jewelry with a stunning vintage feeling. Both are excellent masterpieces. Solute the lucky owner!

I actually sold my 5130P because I found it difficult to tell the time in certain lighting conditions; is the contrast between the hands and the blue on the 5110P stronger so it doesn't suffer from the same problem? ...  

is difficult to read. In 5131G the hands are white and thus it is easier to read. At the same time there are no hour markers in 5131 so the right time needs to be always estimated based on the positions of the hands. Best, Kari

When my eyes were excellent I had no problem to read the time on a 5110P. Now, I can only admire the time, which is very fine for me. ;) Best, Nicolas

But I would wear with a lot of pleasure the 5131G, too. If I have to make a choice between the 5110P and the 5131G, I would go for the first, though. Best, Nicolas

5131G is fantastic to wear. However, the bling factor has started to bother me. The watch is too much with i.e. jeans and at the same time also wearing a business suit it is kind of shiny. Perhaps I should just wear it more. My 5131G has turned too much t... 

Well, I don't agree with this sentence: if we buy a watch only to own it and not to wear it, I think it loses a big part of its interest. The 5110P is a great watch and very legible. The 5131 is a wonderful watch with such artistic dial. On the downside, ...

my opinion, the 5110P is definitely I watch I would wear with much pleasure. The 5131 model was never really a watch that I would consider purchasing, it is nice a very nice piece indeed but not for my wrist and I never purchase a watch I wouldn't wear. I... 

5110 P is one of my preferred watches I own. By the way, I have it today at my wrist ;-) Best, Didier.
