I remember your first post a few weeks ago, hence my sincere congrats now on making a knowledgeable decision and settling on this superb, new generation Calatrava! ;-)
Honestly, I'm glad you trusted yourself better than a "watch circle" that "absolutely destroys Patek" or thinks that "Lange is all the fire"....While I love original circles, if you want to start building an important watch collection with your money, I'm pretty sure that you made the right call with this 6119! ;-))
My view when choosing watches is to *always* make an informed decision for yourself -- and you could have hardly chosen a better watch to approach the "Patek world" than this stunning, entry-level 6119R!

My pleasure, glad I was able to give you some different feedback. The strap is indeed a lot for a watch -- I don't change it all the time like other friends do but I think it's critical to get it right, as it can totally change the look of your watch...
Here's for instance my 5124, not the most lively watch on its own, especially with the original strap that came with it to match the salmon dial...So upon purchasing it (many years ago), my AD and I ordered from Patek a flashy red strap for it, which I LO...
